The movie is a part of my trend forecast for a sports brand.
This project was initiated by the Design Academy Eindhoven Man & Identity department, in which I participated as an alumni.

THE LENTICULAR BODY – DIFFRACTION SILHOUETTES
– what you see is not what you get.
– the movement of the silhouettes will create their own form.
– because of the layered structure you get an optical illusion, just like lenticular printing or clouds.
The youth wants movement. In every way. It has to be quicker and smoother. Sliding trough life.
layer by layer. Digital life in motion. Like one big optical illusion.
Not only digital, also in real life. Everything should be 'gliding'. The new youth silhouet is like a digital sugar glider. A sugar glider is a very smart and fast animal who can fly.
The youth looks very much like it.
Fast, smart , advanced and hard to catch. Sliding from activity to activity in a very fast way.
That is what the new youth silhouet is about. All the different layers in the silhouette creates a 3D effect. It creates volume and form. But in the end it is just flat and 2D, but it looks 3D. So what you see is not what you get.
Multiple body's, diffraction and irrisation of the silhouette.
Energetic & Explosive colors. The digital ones... RGB and CMYK with black and white.
Moving your arms up and down will create wings.
Jumping from left to right will create a volumnious pants.
Running will create multiple feet.
